1. Overview & principles
At Nakshtralogy, every consultation, every report, every interaction should add value to your life. When something goes wrong — a dropped call, an unprofessional astrologer, a billing error — we want to make it right quickly and fairly.
This Refund Policy applies to all paid services on Nakshtralogy mobile apps and website, including live astrologer consultations (chat, voice, video), wallet recharges, premium AI reports, and Kundli Milan services.
2. Refund eligibility
You are eligible for a full or partial refund in any of these scenarios:
2.1 Technical issues
- Call/video drops caused by Nakshtralogy infrastructure (not your network)
- Astrologer no-show for a confirmed booking
- Audio quality failures that prevented meaningful consultation
- Failed payment where amount was deducted but service not received
- Chart computation errors producing demonstrably incorrect Kundli
2.2 Service quality issues
- Unprofessional astrologer behavior (verified through call recording / chat logs)
- Astrologer ended session prematurely without consent
- Significantly mismatched expertise from advertised speciality
- Verified misconduct — predatory upselling, threatening language, false promises
2.3 Billing errors
- Duplicate charges for the same consultation
- Incorrect per-minute billing (rate mismatch)
- Unauthorized transactions on your account
3. How to request a refund
Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the consultation or transaction. Two ways to request:
3.1 In-app refund (fastest)
- Open the Nakshtralogy app → Profile → My Bookings
- Tap the consultation in question
- Tap "Request Refund"
- Select reason from dropdown + add optional details
- Submit — you'll receive an acknowledgement email within 1 hour
3.2 Email request
Send an email to info@paramvasu.com with subject line: "Refund Request — [Booking ID]"
Include: your registered phone number, consultation date/time, astrologer name, and a brief description of the issue.

5. Wallet refunds vs original payment
You can choose how you receive your refund:
5.1 Nakshtralogy Wallet (recommended)
- Instant after approval (no bank delay)
- Wallet balance can be used for any future consultation or service
- No processing fees deducted
- Wallet credits never expire
5.2 Original payment method
- Refunded to the card / UPI / net banking account used originally
- Processing time: 5–7 business days (depending on your bank)
- Payment gateway fees may apply for international cards
- You'll receive an SMS/email confirmation when initiated
6. Non-refundable items
The following are not refundable:
- Completed consultations where you participated for the full duration without flagging issues
- Used wallet credits after they've been spent on consultations
- Premium AI reports once accessed and viewed (you may dispute factual chart errors only)
- Live stream Super Chat tips sent to astrologers
- Promotional / discounted purchases beyond 7 days from purchase
- Goodwill credits issued by Nakshtralogy as compensation
- Subscription auto-renewals after the renewal date (cancel before renewal to avoid charge)
7. Dispute resolution
If your refund request is declined and you disagree, you can escalate:
7.1 Escalation process
- Level 1: Reply to the decision email within 7 days requesting re-review
- Level 2: Email info@paramvasu.com with subject "Escalation — [Booking ID]" — handled by senior support
- Level 3: Grievance Officer review — final internal authority, decision within 14 days
- External: If unresolved, you may approach the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or consumer courts under Indian jurisdiction (Mumbai)

8. For astrologers
Refund situations affect astrologer payouts as follows:
- Approved refund = the corresponding consultation amount is reversed from the astrologer's pending earnings
- Astrologers are notified in-app whenever a refund is approved on their consultation
- Astrologers can dispute a refund decision within 7 days by submitting their version of events
- Pattern of refunds (more than 5% of total consultations refunded) may trigger account review
- Astrologer payouts are processed weekly; refunds settled before payout adjust that week's amount
9. Chargebacks
We urge you to use our refund process before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting refund through our channels may result in:
- Account suspension during investigation
- Recovery of disputed amounts via legal means if found unjustified
- Permanent ban on future use of Nakshtralogy services
Our team responds to chargeback inquiries from banks within 7 days with full transaction documentation.
